JD, which is founded in 2004 and named in Chinese for JingDong (京东), is Taobao’s biggest competitor. It’s averaged 46 million users per day and shifted from the former JD’s website www.360buy.com. JD has tens of distribution warehouses in China and owned delivery network, so that it can offer the fast delivery service with delivering the items to customers on the same day or the second day when buyers order. It also offers a mobile App Chinese e-commerce service platform for customers.

JD platform provides two sales modes. One is that the suppliers place the items in JD distribution warehouses, and JD sells these items, delivers, and aftersales. And another one sales mode is that merchants join in JD platform, sell, arrage delivery and aftersales by themseves.
